Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, responsible for the governance of the affairs of the Institute of Shipping Analysis, consists of the Chairman, the Secretary-General and maximum eight (8) individuals elected at the Annual General Meeting.

Chairman, Carl-Otto Dahlberg, is owner of Carlship AB and a partner at Imperial Shipping Ltd a UK headquartered shipowning company having a branch office in Gothenburg, which invests in and operates RoRo and multi-purpose vessels.

Carina Wallin, Senior Vice President, Shipping & Logistics, at the global Trading House Elof Hansson Trade AB, where she has been in charge of the company´s shipping activities since 1994. In 2009 she was appointed Senior Vice President.

Johan Woxenius is professor of maritime transport management and logistics at the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. His main field of research is intermodal freight transport combining different traffic modes and he manages the school’s part of the Lighthouse maritime competence centre.

Per Croner has a long background in Swedish shipping and shipbuilding industry, and since October 2010 is he the President of the Swedish RoRo Specialist TTS Marine AB and Head of business unit Cargo Access within the TTS Marine Division.

Lars Karlsson is an independent consultant, senior advisor and board member of several Boards. During his career he has held positions as Managing director for multiple number of ports in Sweden, most recently in Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP, but he is also a Master Mariner and Mechanical Engineer.

Lennart Nilsson is senior consultant at IHS Fairplay. He is the leader for research projects analysing shipping industry clusters, supply and demand for shipping and shipping related services. Main areas of expertise are analysis of maritime transport markets.

Kim Ullman, Senior Vice President & Chief Strategic Officer, joined Stena Bulk in 1983, shortly after the company was established, and has played a key role in its growth and operations. In his current role, Kim has full responsibility for the commercial side of the tanker business as well as liaising and coordinating all Stena Bulk offices worldwide.

Lena Göthberg was appointed Secretary-General, Institute of Shipping Analysis in September 2010, after a career in the marine insurance industry, where she played a significant role. The Secretary-General is in charge of the day-to-day business of the Institute of Shipping Analysis.

The Board was elected on the Annual Meeting on March 21st, 2012.
